1. About JewelConnect
JewelConnect is a subscription-based aggregator and networking platform for jewelry wholesalers, retailers, marketers, brands, and related business users across India. The platform helps users discover, connect, and collaborate with other business members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. JewelConnect is intended for business and professional use. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and authorized by your business.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate business details and update them when they change.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, misuse the platform, violate these terms, or create risk for other users.
4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Access
JewelConnect access may require an active paid subscription. Subscription plans, prices, features, billing cycles, and promotional offers may change from time to time. Unless stated otherwise, subscription access begins after payment confirmation and remains active for the selected billing period.
- Users are responsible for paying applicable subscription fees, taxes, and renewal charges.
- Payments may be processed by third-party payment gateways under their own terms.
- Failure to complete payment may result in limited access, suspension, or cancellation of subscription features.
- Some features may be limited by plan type, verification status, region, or account category.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Users may request cancellation according to the process available in the app, website, or support channel. Refunds, if any, will be handled according to the active refund policy, payment gateway rules, and applicable law. Fees already paid may be non-refundable where subscription access, verification, onboarding, or digital services have already been provided, unless required by law.
6. User Content and Business Listings
Users may submit business profiles, product catalogs, images, requirements, messages, offers, campaign details, and other content. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant JewelConnect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, transmit, and use that content for operating and promoting the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and not misleading. JewelConnect may remove or restrict content that violates these terms or harms platform trust.
7. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- Use JewelConnect for fraud, illegal trade, deceptive marketing, harassment, spam, or unauthorized solicitation.
- Upload false, stolen, misleading, offensive, infringing, or unlawful content.
- Misrepresent product quality, pricing, business identity, certifications, location, or stock availability.
- Scrape, copy, resell, or misuse member data, catalogs, contact details, or platform content.
- Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions, security controls, verification systems, or payment requirements.
- Introduce malware, automated bots, excessive requests, or actions that disrupt the platform.
8. Member Interactions and Transactions
JewelConnect facilitates discovery and communication between business users. We are not a party to independent transactions, negotiations, orders, product delivery, quality inspection, marketing service delivery, payment settlements, or disputes between members unless expressly agreed in writing.
Users should conduct their own due diligence before entering business arrangements. JewelConnect does not guarantee the quality, legality, authenticity, availability, pricing, or performance of products or services offered by members.
9. Verification
JewelConnect may offer business verification features, but verification does not guarantee future conduct, product quality, financial standing, legal compliance, or transaction reliability of any member. We may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke verification at our discretion.
10. Intellectual Property
JewelConnect's name, logo, design, software, content, layouts, features, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to JewelConnect. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit platform materials without written permission.
11. Privacy
Use of JewelConnect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at privacy-policy.html. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information described there.
12. Service Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, plan, content, or service at any time. We aim to keep the platform reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service.
13. Disclaimers
JewelConnect is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee business growth, sales, leads, revenue, member responses, transaction success, or marketing performance. Users make business decisions at their own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JewelConnect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business losses, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunities, or transactions. Our total liability for any claim will be limited to the subscription fees paid by the user for the relevant service period, unless a higher liability is required by law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold JewelConnect harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, business dealings, misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these terms, created risk for members, failed to pay fees, submitted false information, or used the platform unlawfully. Users may stop using JewelConnect at any time, but subscription and refund rules will still apply.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India, unless another dispute resolution process is required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
